STARMOVES COLLEGE - MASTERS LEAGUE
The Masters League is for students aged 16 and over. You will learn the structure of Hip Hop step by step, with all the important Hip Hop basics, as well as Hip Hop social dances. There are 7 different stages / levels, which students have to complete at their own pace. To make it more interesting for the students, titles were assigned to each level. So they dance their way up from level 1 – “Prodigy” to level 7 – “MASTER”. At each level, students will learn new basics and movements that will prepare them for the next level and develop their coordination.
LEVEL 1 PRODIGY
You have already successfully learned the most important step: you have walked through the door of your dance school. You have practiced the next steps so well in your hip hop classes that you can dance them on your own without looking at your coaches. You are on the right track.
LEVEL 2 KINGPIN
You will have reached the second level after just a few weeks. Not only have you mastered the first basic steps, but you can also dance the first turns well. You are also becoming more and more popular in the group.
LEVEL 3 ACE
Now you can’t stand still when the music comes on. You eagerly take on board everything your coaches teach you and continue to develop. With every new step you learn, you take a step in the right direction.
LEVEL 4 GENIUS
You’ve really become a dance genius in the last few months. You diligently learned everything you needed to learn up to level 4 from your coaches and also integrated well into the group. Well done!
LEVEL 5 WIZARD
You are becoming more and more of a dance expert. In addition to individual steps and turns, more and more isolations are added. If you don’t succeed straight away, don’t give up, but keep practicing until you can do it and keep getting feedback from your coaches.
LEVEL 6 LEADER
You have reached level 6 and are only a few steps away from the very last level. You handle the music independently and can move to the beat without the help of your coaches. You can even help your fellow dancers who have not yet reached Leader level. You are a real “leader”.
LEVEL 7 MASTER
WOW! You have reached the highest level and are therefore not only a “MASTER” in the Masters League, but have also become a role model for your fellow dancers in the course. You were ambitious and hard-working and therefore learned all the steps. You find it easy to deal with music and you have become a real dancer. Great job!
